What 1of10 gets right
It is the most established tool on this page, with 30,000 users on the Chrome Web Store, and it deserves the position. The core insight is correct and well argued on their own site: view counts lie, and the only useful question is how a video performed against what that channel normally does. The extension paints outlier scores onto real YouTube pages, and one feature is genuinely evidence-shaped: the title and thumbnail change history, which shows a packaging swap and what happened to views per hour afterward. That is a real before-and-after, and Cullen has no equivalent for YouTube packaging.

If your work is short-form, half the product does not apply.
1of10 is built for the YouTube packaging loop: find an outlier, study its title, study its thumbnail, generate a better one. That is a real job and it is a good tool for it. But if what you actually make is Reels, TikToks and Shorts, the thumbnail is not the lever, there is no title to A/B, and two of the three platforms you compete on are not covered at all. There is no Instagram and no TikTok anywhere in the product.
Cullen covers all three today, with comment capture on each, and its content-type filter separates Reels from static posts and carousels, TikTok videos from photo posts, so you compare like with like inside a single account.
A multiple you cannot reproduce is a multiple you cannot defend.
1of10's own pages describe the baseline behind the outlier score three different ways, and the difference is not cosmetic: a mean and a median give different answers on exactly the kind of spiky channel you are researching.
Cullen publishes one method and then shows the number's working next to it: the multiple, the baseline it was measured against, and how many neighbouring posts informed that baseline. When the window is too thin to be trusted, it says so rather than printing a confident figure. When an account was captured with no neighbours at all, it shows the metrics and states plainly that a baseline could not be computed. That is the difference between a score you quote and a score you can defend to a client who asks how it was calculated.
Nobody in this comparison reads the comments except Cullen.
1of10's best evidence is packaging: it can show that a thumbnail swap tracked with a change in views per hour. That is a genuine signal about the wrapper. It cannot tell you anything about the video, because nothing in the product watches the video or reads what the audience said about it. There is no comment ingestion anywhere on its site.
The audience is the only witness to why a piece of content worked, and they leave a written statement under every post. Cullen reads it, and uses it in both directions: to confirm a trigger, and to kill one.
The price gap is not close.
The honest gap: if you are a long-form YouTube creator, 1of10 is built for you and Cullen is not. Cullen deliberately scopes to short-form; long-form YouTube videos are out of scope. Cullen also does not generate thumbnails or titles, and never will generate your content, by design. It hands you the brief; you make it.
1of10 studies the packaging. Cullen studies the content, and asks the audience.
A title and a thumbnail decide whether a YouTube video gets clicked. On Reels, TikToks and Shorts there is no thumbnail to fix and the whole result is decided by what happens in the first three seconds and what the audience does about it. Cullen watches those seconds, reads what the audience actually said, marks every explanation confirmed or falsified with the quote attached, and writes the two things you could film tomorrow.
